Sunflower Santa Fe Double [ Helianthus Annuus] is an annual sunflower plant with majestic, fully double, golden-orange flowers are 5" to 8" across with the full look of a chrysanthemum. Santa Fe sunflower blooms mid-summer to fall, and the flower looks great with other late blooming perennials and grasses.

Sunflower Santa Fe Double [ Helianthus Annuus] will grow in almost any soil and is drought tolerant but, for larger and profuse flowering, good moisture is required.  Its nectar is a source of energy for bees, and their ripe seeds are valuable for attracting finches and other birds.

The plant is attractive to bees and birds.

The plant is good as a cut flower.
